Reading the site
Our website code sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising, retargeting or tag-manager scripts. Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site, and may set technical security cookies for that purpose.
Checking an address
When you use the property report, the address you enter is sent through our website to the property data service we use. It looks up public records and keeps a record of the lookup, including the address. No name, phone number or email is collected at this step.
Asking us to contact you
If you ask us to contact you about a report, or request a 15 minute call, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email if you choose to give it, your answers to the questions (including how you are connected to the home), and your preferred day and part of the day. With it we record the exact permission wording you agreed to and its version, the page, the time, which website you used (texsunsolar.com), and any allowed campaign tags from the link you followed. The forms also send an invisible spam check and how long the form was open; these are used to screen out automated submissions.
We use this information to respond to your request and to arrange and hold the call. Your permission covers that purpose only. It is not permission for marketing, text messages, or sharing your details with an installer or any other company; we would ask you separately first.
Where it is stored
Requests are stored with the property and request-management service we use, which also supports other websites. Each request is labeled with the website it came from. That label records where a request started; it is not a technical barrier between websites.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not ask for credit, income or Social Security information, and the forms refuse those fields.
- We do not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing emails.
Your choices
You can email info@texsunsolar.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Some records may need to be kept where the law requires. We keep request records only as long as we need them for these purposes and our records.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
